Basmati and Jasmine 10 Minute Rice Review

You may have seen this product on the shelves already. I tested it out to see if it really made tasty rice in 10 minutes! I have made regular rice before and had it turn out a bit crunchy, so I definitely think rice can be a touchy thing to make. Minute Rice has different rices available. For this review, I looked at the 10 minute Jasmine and Basmati rice.

How to make Minute Rice:

  1. Get out a pot, add in a packet of the rice with 1 1/4 cup of water. Bring to a boil, then cover pot and reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10 minutes. Done!

PROS

  • Fast to make – lives up to only taking 10 minutes (plus 1-2 mins while you wait for the water to boil)
  • Tastes good – Seems pretty fool proof since I know I’ve messed up rice in the past, but haven’t with this!
  • The individual packets make the process even faster and help with portion-control
  • Packets keep rice fresh

CONS

  • Excess plastic to hold the individual rice portions

  39. You’ve been single and unattached for quite a while now and you also wonder
why there’s just no blossoming romance happening when you’ve tiresomely frequented plenty of
bars (or wherever single people gather) looking to bump into your
next boyfriend or girlfriend. Most software leads to sites that
rely extensively on PHP and My – SQL. The following are five questions you should ask (or get answers to) before meeting track of your
matches on the real first date.
