Crispy Banana Blueberry Chocolate Wontons - Easy Wonton Recipe
  • Wonton wrappers
  • 1 Ripe Banana
  • Handful of Fresh Blueberries
  • Chocolate or Carob Chips
  • Optional: Honey
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  1. Peel your banana and cut into slices. Cut each slice in half so you have half-circles.
  2. Lay out your wonton wrapper to it's on an angle towards you (like a diamond as opposed to a square). Place two halves of banana slice and 1-2 blueberries near the middle of the wrapper. Fold wrapper over on itself so you get a triangle. Press the edges of the wrapper together. You can even make little folds along the edges for appearance-sake and also to keep the sides of the wonton together so none of the filling falls out.
  3. For some of the wontons, replace the blueberries with some chocolate or carob chips if you wish and add in some banana.
  4. Lightly brush the assembled wontons in some honey (optional) before frying.
  5. Heat some extra virgin olive oil (you don't need a lot) in a non-stick skillet to about medium heat and cook each side of the wontons for a couple of minutes, or until crispy light brown.
  6. Serve on its own or with some fresh blueberries, more banana slices or some gelato or homemade vegan ice cream.
