A healthy raw caramel spread. Very creamy and gooey and tastes just like caramel! All natural ingredients and great on apples, in oatmeal, on icecream, in desserts, spread on toast, on pancakes, waffles…Just blend up all the ingredients until smooth and you’re ready to eat some yummy caramel. 🙂
- Add all ingredients (except for the "optional" ingredients) to a blender/food processor and blend well until everything is smooth and a uniform colour. This may take a bit of time if you don't have a powerful machine. I had to scrape down the sides with a spatula a few times. Probably took me about 4-5 minutes...not too long. Definitely worth it in any case. 🙂
- Then you are done! Tastes great when placed in the fridge for 10-20 minutes. If you want a less thick consistency, I would try adding a tsp of water at a time until you reach your desired consistency. Keep stored in the fridge and use within 3-5 days.
