Hello! I finally got to try something that I had been hearing awesome things about for ages! They are uncooked, unprocessed Raw Crunch Bars! I love their slogan: “No artificial nothin’!” My kinda food! They come in four varieties: Cranberries, Goji, Blueberries and Chocolate (MM!). The believe the only thing not raw about them is the dark chocolate that they use in the chocolate kind, so if that is an issue for you, there are always the three other kinds for you to enjoy.
The people at Raw Crunch Bar were kind enough to send me some sample bars to try and review. They seem super friendly over there! Definitely a lovely company to support and to know about.

Some info on Raw Crunch Bars:
- All of the blueberries, cranberries, goji berries and the dark chocolate are Organic.
- The dark chocolate contains: organic sugar, organic unsweetened chocolate, cocoa butter, organic vanilla beans, soy lecithin.

- GMO-free
- Recommended to be consumed within 5 months for optimum freshness. The thick packaging as well as the raw honey and celtic sea salt help to naturally preserve the bars and to keep them fresh and crunchy!

They are quite wide and thin. I tried the Chocolate one first (as I generally do :B)…YUM. First of all, the texture is very different to any natural bar I have tried. Very crunchy without being crazy-snap-your-teeth-off hard. Nice texture, and the dark chocolate went very well with the other ingredients. I love bars where you can see exactly what the ingredients are. Nothing is over-processed into a paste…you see whole gojis, cranberries, blueberries, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds…etc in the bar.
I tried a Cranberry one and I didn’t notice this when I ate the Chocolate raw crunch bar, but it seemed a tad too high on the salt-taste. It was still very good, it just didn’t need that much salt in my opinion. Because they are so natural, perhaps they differ slightly, so perhaps the next Cranberry bar I have won’t be as salty.

They look so pretty! I love the packaging and the look of the bars. These would be good for a pre or post work out snack or an ‘in-between meals’ snack. Better than reaching for junk food like chips or cookies.
The downside to these bars is that they are quite expensive. 12 bars are $30 (plus shipping, if you order online). That comes to $2.5 per bar. I understand why they cost what they do. Hopefully more and more stores will carry them and hopefully the prices can be reduced at some point. But hey, at least raw bars exist for people when you don’t have time to make your own!
